About Financial Capabilities
Hopelink’s Financial Capability program is committed to helping you confidently manage your money and achieve greater financial well-being for you and your family. We focus on gaining knowledge, building skills, and providing access to safe and reliable services through:

Financial education materials are available in multiple languages!
Hopelink’s Financial Foundations curriculum and materials were created for financial education professionals, volunteers, service providers, and individuals who have a passion for supporting immigrants and refugees as they navigate financial systems in the United States. The materials can be used in a formal classroom setting, in small groups, or individually. They are free to download and customizable.
- The Facilitator Guide was created to train and support facilitators, offering an introduction to facilitating with a coaching mindset, along with modules covering money management, banking, credit, and consumer protection.
- Participant workbooks are available to download in multiple languages (Arabic, Chinese, Dari, English, Farsi, Korean, Pashto, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese).

Tax Preparation
In-person tax preparation services are now closed and will resume in 2025. Virtual tax help is available through MyFreeTaxes.com, IRS-certified volunteers at GetYourRefund, or go to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) help page to file your return on your own.
Financial coaching provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to explore your current financial situation while helping you find your own unique financial path forward.
