The career opportunity: The Client Transportation Coordinator is a term-limited position with a potential end date of June 1, 2025, or based on program needs. The NEMT Client Transportation Coordinator partners in-person with medical facility staff to provide transportation assistance to Medicaid clients for the purpose of receiving medical care at local facilities. The Food Program Supervisor works with the food team, volunteers, and clients at our no cost food assistance markets. Hopelink provides food assistance to mitigate hunger and support basic food security for low-income households in North and East King County.

The Food Program Supervisor provides coordination of the food program at a specific center; provides guidance, direction, and supervision to volunteer staff.  Responsible for weekly ordering of fresh and non-perishable food from multiple sources, maintains Hopelink Markets inventory and overall cleanliness of the markets. Performs client intake, determines client eligibility, and provides appropriate information and referral.  The Food Program Supervisor provides leadership for the volunteer staff and sets the tone for culturally competent and client focused customer service for all food market participants.

The food team schedule will include regular evenings for food market and occasional outreach on weekends. Such as, for food drive hosting and collection, for outreach and other agency related activities. Manager will relay schedule availability needed in advance.

The Eligibility and Resource Specialist (ERS) role is a seasonal, time-limited position through June 30th, with the possibility of transfer to a regular position based on performance and program needs. The ERS speaks with a high volume of clients one-on-one, determines client eligibility, and enrolls clients to receive Energy Assistance grants. ERS staff are responsible for entering data accurately and efficiently into commerce and Puget Sound Energy databases and managing client documentation in an organized and confidential manner. They provide excellent customer service to all and respond promptly to phone and e-mail inquiries. The Energy Assistance Program is very fast paced and attention to detail is crucial. This position requires the ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure and deescalate issues when necessary. ERS must be comfortable working with families and individuals that may be in crisis, suffer from mental illness, and/or are experiencing homelessness.

This position requires on-site training in Redmond for initial 2 weeks. After training with a minimum of two days per week in office. Training will start February 3rd, 2025, and the seasonal job will continue until June 30th, 2025, or as needed. (5 months is job duration estimate)

  • Compensation: $31.55-$33.00 hr. DOE
  • Up to 10 paid vacation and sick days annually and 10 paid holidays,
  • Plus, up to 7 paid float days available to use immediately; dependent on hire date and hours/week

We are the largest nonprofit organization in the Eastside area, every year we serve over 65,000 homeless and low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities, and have been since 1971.
