Since 1971, Hopelink has served homeless and low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities in the north and east King County, WA. The DART Fleet Vehicle Detailer ensures that all interior & all exterior surfaces of buses and vehicles are sanitized, washed and detailed using proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety goggles and other protective equipment. This position may require some overtime, but overtime is not guaranteed. Detailers provide automotive interior and exterior cleaning services that meet company or client specifications. They handle everything from a simple wash and vacuum to more intensive cleaning jobs, including hand washing vehicles, steaming and deodorizing interiors.

The Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Scheduler I receives and assigns same day service requests, provides superior customer service, and works proactively with service partners. This position reports directly to the NEMT Scheduling Supervisor and serves as a resource to other Transportation staff when needed.

The NEMT Scheduler I is responsible for ensuring pick-ups, drop-offs, and ride times occur in a timely, safe, and efficient manner by identifying service gaps and ensuring that vehicle efficiency is maximized to reduce trip costs. The career opportunity:

The Financial Education Coordinator-Spanish bilingual supports Hopelink’s Financial Capability Program objectives by delivering financial education services and expanding the program through partnerships across the region. This position reports to and works closely with the Financial Capability program manager.

The Financial Education Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing financial education programs that increase basic financial knowledge and skills. The coordinator facilitates classes, delivers presentations, oversees volunteers, and evaluates program effectiveness. They collaborate across Hopelink Community Services teams and with community partners to promote financial education and coordinate events to promote financial well-being.

The ideal candidate for this role will be bilingual in English and Spanish, have a strong background in finance or adult education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

This position requires on-site availability for support of staff, volunteers, and students, as well as team meetings. Work from home is available at least 50% of the time when on-site activities are not required. Schedule is flexible to accommodate evening classes as needed.

Examples of what you will be doing:

  • Facilitate basic financial education classes and workshops in-person and virtually in Spanish.
  • Revise program curriculum and materials based on changing needs and new requests.

Initial 2-week training is in-person at a Hopelink worksite.  After training, hybrid with some in-person and some remote schedule options available. (typically, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote).  Some flexibility on determining schedule.

Hopelink provides vital resources to people experiencing financial and housing instability in our community. The Case Manager provides assessment, advocacy, referrals, and other support services to low-income families in shelter, transitional, non-time limited housing programs as well as community-based settings. The primary goal is to help families through their own resilience to make positive life changes and substantial progress towards self-sufficiency, with a focus on increasing income & obtaining and maintaining permanent housing.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, compassionate, excited to learn, and is a team player who works well in a collaborative team environment alongside community partners. A combination of on-site and remote options is available for this role after training period is complete and job proficiency is demonstrated.  Case Managers may need to provide client coverage at other Hopelink sites.
