Donate Goods & Services

Hopelink food banks depend on food donations from individuals and groups (businesses, schools, churches, service clubs) to serve more than 3,000 families each week. We can't do it without you!

Most-needed food items:

  • Canned meals
  • Canned meat
  • Cereal
  • Dry beans
  • Fruit (canned or fresh)
  • Pasta
  • Peanut butter
  • Rice
  • Soup
  • Tomato products
  • Vegetables (canned or fresh)

Non-food items:

  • Baby items (size 3-6 diapers, wipes, formula)
  • Hygiene Items (toothpaste/toothbrushes, shampoo/soap, deodorant, razors, combs, brushes)
  • Paper items (toilet paper, paper towels, foil, zip-lock bags)
  • Household and cleaning items (dish or dishwasher soap, household products, laundry soap)

Hopelink also appreciates donations of fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables grown by family gardeners.  Donations of fresh produce should be newly harvested and in excellent condition. To ensure that your produce donation can be provided to families in need while it is still fresh, please contact your nearest Hopelink food bank before delivery.

Please note: Hopelink is unable to accept the donations of alcohol and medications (including vitamins).

Clothing Bank
The Sno-Valley Center in Carnation is currently the only Hopelink center that accepts clothing that is clean and in good condition. You donations enable us to distribute these items to low-income families throughout the Snoqualmie Valley.

Furnishings for Transitional Housing
Hopelink accepts gently used furnishings that are in excellent condition. Most needed are complete queen and twin beds, kitchen tables and chairs, dressers, small couches, lamps, small tables and bookshelves. Items should not have any tears or stains and be structurally sound. We cannot accept glass topped tables or shelving. Unfortunately we are unable to pick up donations, but if you are able to deliver your items, contact Jeanne at 425.885.0043, x104.

Vehicle Donations
Hopelink partners with Volunteers of America to benefit from your vehicle donation. If you have a car, boat or other vehicle you would like to donate (running or not), call 1.877.CAR.4.VOA (1.877.227.4862). They will coordinate pickup of the vehicle and all paperwork. Please mention Hopelink when calling to make sure we receive the proceeds of the donation.

Monetary Donations
Hopelink relies on donations in order to provide food, shelter, adult education, energy assistance, transportation, family support and hope to 64,000 people throughout north and east King County every year.
